58m M/Y interior refit - master stateroom

The past two years have seen a thorough interior rebuild of a classic 58m motor yacht, designed entirely by the Humphreys studio’s Interior Design division. The refit was carried out by RMK Marine and interior sub-contractor Berline. The whole crew and guest accommodation was ripped out and completely replaced with an entirely different look and feel.

So as not to interrupt the Owner’s normal use of the vessel the Humphreys team worked out a plan to sequence the refit into two distinct sessions; the first winter saw the replacement of the crew accommodation and the Owner’s accommodation, then over the second winter the rest of the guest accommodation and common areas were removed and rebuilt.

The project was a great success, and benefitted from the technical and 3D modelling input that the Humphreys team was able to add to the more usual interior design project work.
