BG Spirit wins the Global Challenge Race

Our congratulations to BG Spirit who has had a dream homecoming into Portsmouth, winning the final leg of the 2004-2005 Global Challenge Race to become the overall race winner. BG Spirit skipper, Andy Forbes, was presented with the Princess Royal Trophy by Sir Chay Blyth in front of thousnads at the prize giving in Gunwharf Quays on Sunday.

Barclays Adventurer and Vaio finished leg 7 in second and third place respectively.
